Raptor Ranch is located almost exactly half way between Williams, AZ and the Grand Canyon on Highway 64. It opened in 1972 as Flintstone's Bedrock City, and a few years ago it was thought this iconic roadside attraction might be lost forever (much like the other Bedrock Cities). Luckily, the park has found new life as Raptor Ranch, and they actually managed to make improvements while keeping the charm of Bedrock City in place.
At Raptor Ranch, the park has added a number of birds of prey that you can get up close to where you'd likely never otherwise have the chance. They even are doing hourly demonstrations. We got to visit with an owl and see a flight demonstration on our visit.
And Bedrock City is still there as well. I've been coming to Bedrock City since I was a kid, and its great that its still here to be enjoyed and explored. Gone are the days where you can run into Fred Flintstone or Barney Rubble, but you can still visit their houses!
Raptor Ranch is located at 332 South State Hwy 64, Williams, AZ 86046
