The present video shows how a mini spot welder works with your hand only. The workpiece is held with one hand while the other hand is used to press the lever to spot weld the welding point. The spot is being done to make the workpiece a watertight container. The principle here is the same as resistance welding where spot weld is done when the heat is produced due to resistance to electric current at the electrode end. The pressure of the electrode and heat generated at the electrode lead on to spot welding.
