👋 Lets check out the all new 2022 Toyota GR 86 Premium! This is an affordable and fun to drive sportscar and has major updates from the original Scion FRS and previous generation Toyota 86. So is the new GR86 any better? This new 2022 Toyota GR86 to my surprise was a lot of fun to drive! The new 2.4L Boxer engine packs about 30 more HP and torque compared to the 2.0L Boxer in the previous 86 and it makes a difference. Still a slow car, but now it has enough pep to get up to speed and feel balanced. I really liked how it drives. The automatic transmission is actually pretty response but I would opt for the manual transmission because it is is great and very notchy, super easy to shift and good clutch feedback. Check out the manual review as well! I really had a blast driving around in the new 2022 Toyota GR86. The interior of this premium GR86 was super nice too! The leather and micro suede along the seats, doors and dash made it feel like something special. Very impressed with how much nicer this GR86 feels and just how fun of a car it is. Great option for a sportscar on a budget! We also had the chance to drive the new 2022 Toyota GR86 on the tail of the dragon and it was in the top three of the fun cars to drive through that road! It's not the fastest, but it handles incredibly well and is super balanced to take corners fast! I do wish it had more power to get out of the turns, but it is still a fun car!
