In 2019, the Green Climate Fund and FAO are partnering to build
resilience and mitigate the effects of climate
change.
The projects will…
1. Reduce
Greenhouse Gas emissions from Chile’s forests
2. Promote carbon
sequestration and adaptation in Kyrgyzstan.
3. Help Nepal mainstream climate resilience into
vulnerable ecosystems.
4. Improve water
management in food-producing regions of Pakistan.
Effective partnerships and climate action across agricultural sectors is key to achieving the Sustainable Development Goals.
