The surgery for improving the scar depends upon the width of the scar, the location. If the scar is very small, then we can just reduce the width of the scar and stich it finely, so that very fine, almost unnoticeable scar is produced. If the scar is big, we do it in stages within a gap of about 2 – 3 months. If the scar is even bigger than that, we cut the scar, and take graft from some other area and put it.
