The storms keep coming and we're stuck on Vlieland. Two days later there is finally a gap in the weather and we leave to sail to The Hague in the south part of The Netherlands. We meet heavy rain, winds of 25 knots gusting to 30 and high and steep waves outside Vlieland. Not a good start of a 15 hour leg! Malin get sea sick and is out for the rest of the day. We arrive to Scheveningen Marina in The Hague at midnight and can finally get some good rest. The next couple of days we walk in to the center, clean the boat and give you guys a round tour of the boat.
We are a Swedish couple who wanted a different kind of life. So we moved aboard our sailboat RAN, a custom built Beason 40 in aluminium, untied the lines in the middle of the Swedish winter, January 2016, and started sailing south along the coast of Europe. There is no set route and we will go where the wind and our minds take us.
