My series of "New Forest Walks" with my dog, Logan (the Whippet) continues with an exploration of the Blackwater Tall Tree Trail (near Lyndhurst, Hampshire). During our walk we come across one of the tallest trees in England, a WW2 Bomb crater and finish our journey with a stroll around the Arboretum. Oh...and we meet a couple of cute pigs as well!
In the video, I state that one of the Sequoia trees is the tallest tree in England however I have since read that there is a Douglas Fir at Dunster, Somerset that was measured at 61.3M in 2011. Indeed there may be at least 9, if not more, trees taller (in England) than the one I pointed out in the video!
