Delhi on Red Alert: Roads Flooded, Flights Delayed, Schools Shut, 2 Dead in Heavy Rains
In India's capital Delhi, heavy rains and severe waterlogging brought the life of people to a standstill. Two people were killed and two were reported injured in rain-related incidents in Delhi. A mother-son duo drowned in a waterlogged drain. At least 10 flights to Delhi were diverted to Jaipur and Lucknow cities. Some weather stations recorded over 100 millimeters of rainfall which is often known as a cloudburst situation. Officials have forecasted continued rainfall till the 5th of August. Delhi’s education minister also directed all the schools to remain shut in the wake of the situation. Watch the video to know more.
