RESEP GULAI:
INGREDIENTS:
Mutton
Red chilli
Coconut milk with water
Pure coconut milk
White pepper
Cumin powder
Beef flavor powder
Salt
Onion
Ginger
Garlic
Turmeric
Turmeric leaves
Lemon grass
Lime leaves
Cinnamon
Star anise
Siam cardimom
Brown sugar
Candle nut
Nutmeg
Galangal
Corriander powder
Gulai masala (indofood)
PREPARATION:
• Prepare spice paste by grinding onion, garlic, ginger, candle nut, turmeric, lemon grass, red chillis and small amount of coconut milk in food processor.
• Prepare siam cardimom and nutmeg powder by grinding them in a mortar and pestle.
• Boil water in a pot and add pressed ginger and mutton in it.
• In another pot, dash small amount of oil and add spice paste in it.
• Add lime leaves, turmeric leaves, galangal, cinnamon and star annise in it.
• Add corriander powder, white pepper, cumin powder, salt, nutmeg and siam cardamom powder in it and mix well.
• Now add gulai masala (indofood) and mix properly then add previously boiled mutton in it.
• Add coconut milk with water in it, cover the lid and cook for about 30 minutes.
• After about 30 minutes add brown sugar and beef flavor powder in it and mix them well.
• Finally add pure coconut milk in it. Cook for about 10 minutes.
• Delicious gulai is ready to serve. Sprinkle fried onion on the top of serving dish for garnishing purpose.
• Serve the delicious lamb curry (gulai kambing) with steamed white rice.
