Murat Gassiev is a Russian born professional boxer with a 27-1 record who has fought in the cruiserweight division for the majority of his career. Gassiev decided to move up into the heavyweight division, following his first career loss against Oleksandr Usyk in the WBSS tournament final. He made his heavyweight debut in October of 2020 against Nuri Seferi, winning the fight with a vicious knockout. He’s currently regarded as one of the greatest additions to the heavyweight division due to his cruiserweight success and lethal power.
