Nik Gowing has had an impressive career in broadcast journalism. He worked at ITN for 18 years, serving as a bureau chief in Rome and Warsaw. He was also the Diplomatic Editor for Channel Four News.
He is the author of 'Skyful of Lies and Black Swans: the New Tyranny of Shifting Information Power in Crises', written as a Visiting Fellow at the Reuters Institute for the Study of Journalism at Oxford University.
Nik will discuss the issue of information control during his talk, as well as sharing his years of experience as a journalist.
