Microsoft Excel Tutorial: Getting Exchange Rates in Excel.
Just four months ago, the views of my podcast asked if Microsoft could add exchange rates in addition to the stock data type. Breaking news: Excel will now provide exchange rates for currency pairs. Type in USDEUR and get the currency conversion from US Dollars to Euro.
This is an awesome improvement from the Data Type team in Redmond.

Welcome back to another episode of the MrExcel podcast, where we dive into all things Excel. I recently attended the MVP Summit and got a sneak peek at this amazing new feature, and I couldn't wait to share it with all of you.
Just four months ago, in episode 2250, I asked viewers what other data types they would like to see in Excel. Shout out to Sal, David, and Hector for suggesting currency pairs - and guess what? The Excel team listened and made it happen. Now, in the latest update (version 1904), Office Insiders have access to this new feature. Simply go to the stocks data type and add the price, and you'll have access to real-time exchange rates.
What's even more impressive is that the data type team is constantly working to innovate and add new features to Excel. It's amazing to see that just four months ago, viewers suggested this feature and now it's a reality. I want to thank all of you for your suggestions and for being a part of this community.
