Luis Fernando Cohn Pelaez took the floor on behalf of United Nations Watch to appeal for Sepideh Gholian, an Iranian labor rights activist recently released from the notorious Evin prison after more than four years of arbitrary detention. She was initially imprisoned on trumped-up national security charges due to her participation in peaceful strikes.
