Welcome to part 1 of the Scifiantasy build up of the 1/25 Moebius Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice Batmobile.

This video covers the first three instruction steps of the 1/25 Moebius Dawn of Justice Batmobile.

Those steps include prepping the chassis, building and attaching the front suspension assembly, Building the transaxle, engine and turbo boost rocket.

The model, so far, goes together extremely well, though the front and rear side panels take a bit of fiddling to get them in place.

The most time consuming part is the detail painting (engine and machinery in the recessed center panels).

The photo-etch disc brakes, part of the Green Strawberry set, are very easy to assemble and fit as expected. Though, you need to pay attention to the instructions. Otherwise you might miss a 'nub' that needs to be removed from the suspension assembly to allow the disc brake to sit flush.

Sanding the rubber tires down is a bit tedious, but it's well worth it.

Lastly, thought not detailed in a how to form in this video, lighting the Moebius Models Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice Batmobile is a bit of a challenge.

Moebius didn't make the model with lighting in mind so you have to get a bit creative. Luckily HDA Modelworx has a wide variety of Surface Mount LED's (SMD) to choose from. For this application, the 0603 Pre-wired SMD's he carries were perfect for the amber lights. But more on that in the next episode.
