Taxi umbrella body in the Western Cape, SANTACO, has urged minibus taxi drivers to ensure that their vehicles are roadworthy ahead of the Easter long weekend. Traffic volumes usually increase during this festive period with many minibuses taking the long road between provinces. As part of the programme, the Department of Mobility is offering free vehicle checks at the Gene Louw Traffic College in Brackenfell.
