Extech’s MO53 Pinless Moisture Meter is a handheld test instrument designed for non-invasive moisture testing on wood and other building materials. The MO53 can detect moisture at depths up to 0.75 inches (20mm) without inflicting any surface damage. This meter can measure moisture content up to 99% is measurable in wood materials, while moisture content in other building materials like wall board, sheet rock, cardboard, plaster, concrete and mortar are measurable up to 56%.
