In this episode, I share my discovery of Old Order Mennonite Style, where I talk with Mary Jane who runs Scenic View Fabric Shop. We discuss who pays attention to Old Order Mennonite trends, what or who dictates the trends, the introduction of Leggings into the Old Order Mennonite church, and the impact the church has on Old Order Mennonite Style.

I was amazed to discover the variety with in the Old Order Mennonite Church, especially in how the women dress. I always viewed it as static, somehow unchanging. The cook for the bed and breakfast I run attends the same Old Order Mennonite Church as Mary Jane. The conversations and discoveries I made with Mary Jane reminded me of the conversations I had with Elva (my cook) and the amazing things I learned about her.
