Shangri-la Lake. Skardu. Pakistan 🇵🇰

Shangrila lake. This lake is actually Lower Kachura Lake and is home to the first Resort Hotel in Skardu, the 'Shangri-la' (often referred to as 'Shangrila Lake').

We learnt that this HEART-SHAPED lake is an artificial lake, surrounded by lush greenery and mountains galore! 💚

The gardens are well-maintained, and you will have private access to most areas around the lake for those staying at the resort. (We didn't stay in the resort, so we weren't allowed to explore these areas) In true Calamity Travels fashion, we explored as much as we could without getting into trouble :p

Come explore the luscious grounds, the beauty of the lake and the incredible, breathtaking mountain scenery!
