Hello everyone, and welcome back to another video. Today, we will be driving from San Francisco, CA, to San Jose, CA, while traveling along CA-1 South and Interstate 280 South in the San Francisco Bay Area! I-280 is a major north-south freeway in California that runs from the I-680 and US-101 interchange in San Jose, all the way until San Francisco downtown where it ends at King Street, for a total of about 57 miles. I-280 is also called the Junipero Serra Freeway, in honor of the 21 Spanish Missions that were founded along the route from San Francisco to San Diego. The freeway has even received the title "World's Most Beautiful Freeway" due to its scenic sections that pass through the San Francisco Peninsula and Santa Cruz Mountains. In this video, we begin the drive on the Park Presidio Blvd, or CA-1, near the Golden Gate Park in San Francisco. We then join Interstate 280 near Daly City and continue on the route until its terminus in downtown San Jose. So, I hope you enjoyed this 4K scenic drive on another major Bay Area freeway, and please like and subscribe to AKTheTraveler for more awesome road trips!
