In this video we walk through all of the stages of sound design when synthesising a snare drum in DnB. Drum and Bass snares are punchy, high energy, short and full of character. You really need to get your snare to punch through in the mix. I'm using Addictive Drums, Serum, Kick 2, Operator, Trash 2, JST Clip and Valhalla Room in this tutorial, as well as Ableton stock plugins.
