How much emphasis should Christians put on good works? Hear theologian Thomas McCall (Asbury Seminary) speak about the need for American evangelicals to recover a doctrine of good works for the sake of healthy spiritual formation and effective witness in our communities.
Dr. Thomas McCall holds the Timothy C. and Julie M. Tennent Chair of Theology at Asbury University. Dr. McCall is ordained in the Wesleyan Church, and he teaches and writes about the doctrine of the Trinity, New Testament theology, the doctrine of sin, and many other theological topics. Some of his publications include Analytic Christology and the Theological Interpretation of the New Testament, Forsaken: The Trinity and the Cross, and Why It Matters, and After Arminius: A Historical Introduction to Arminian Theology.
Dr. McCall's lecture is followed by a panel discussion with Wheaton College professors David Lauber, Emily McGowin, and Keith Johnson.
