There is not many places that a lonely Level 2000+ can visit. One of very few places that you could hunt is the Secret Library (Ice Secion, for example). It is probably the most efficient section for a Sorcerer due to insane weaknesses to Fire damage.

I think the place is interesting to hunt, but it's not great if we consider available alternative. The profit is really bad, to such a level that it may be not worth collecting anything to maximize the XP/Hr.
