Disruptive cover letters are the best way to stand out in application part of the hiring process. In order to do this you need to “get them at Hello.” Take the time to write a disruptive cover letter for each of the companies on your interview bucket list. This will entice them to want to read your cover letter as well as invite you in for an interview.

4: Strategically Grow Your Network

You network is your net worth. 80% of jobs are gotten via referral so your network is crucial in your job search. Set a goal for yourself to grow your network but make sure they’re quality connections. Quality connections are people that are useful within your network. Whether it’s reaching out more on LinkedIn or going to more in person networking events, broaden your horizons and make better connections.
