This has been the #1 complaint with this Kaiju EXT since it came out - the rear turnbuckles on the upper control arms break - rather easily.
I have been doing some pondering and testing - and here is what I came up with!
1) Provide a shock limiter.
- I used some 7/16 fuel line: [ Ссылка ]
- You could also use the rubber stoppers from this kit: [ Ссылка ]
- Or the cheapest yet - the stock bump stops from an Axial Ryft: [ Ссылка ]
2) Use the front control arms ([ Ссылка ]) in place of the rear. Redcat has since stated that it is only the rear control arms that are the issue. Well - the fronts are the same design, just a little shorter. Put those back there and re-adjust your camber!
After I do these mods - I take the truck out and BEAT on it to see if the control arm breaks!
