As for the glitch itself: It's something that's very easy to replicate. If you do damage to Taniks while you're not alive, it won't trigger the encounter start but will actually do damage. This means you eventually do enough damage to get it low enough that you can defeat the boss on spawn. The method used here was a bunch of nova bombs, and a build to get them back as fast as possible. Other builds with grenades or even witherhoard will work, but I figured this would be the most simple and easy way to replicate it overall.

On top of that, you can use DARCI to check what the health of the boss is from the zoom in function. Get the boss to 3 or lower, and then start the encounter and finish the boss off. This will give you a solo raid completion on raid report if you care about that, along with the raid clear and even the triumphs for this boss.

This method itself took me around 1hr40mins to to with all the waiting, but there's likely other setups you could use to get it even faster. The spot I stand at the start of the video allows you to get close enough to Taniks to trigger Dynamo without spawning the boss. It's a pretty silly way to solo the boss really, but it's possible for now anyway.
