Investments are responsible ONLY when they ensure human rights
Including the right to food
Everyone should have access
to sufficient, safe, nutritious and affordable food.
EVERY DAY
Responsible investments in agri-food systems can help realize the right to food by
1. Taking into consideration the needs of the most vulnerable
2. Ensuring that all parties take part in decisions
3. Empowering women and youth
4. Respecting traditions and cultural heritage
5. Offering training and capacity development
There is no right to food without responsible investment in agriculture
