So as previously mentioned, I reached the Gold Status on Air-France’s and KLM’s Airline Loyalty Program Flying Blue. This came with a lot of perks. Mainly priority everything and worldwide lounge access. I had another weekend getaway trip planned with my wife so I wanted to get to Schiphol early and visit the KLM Crown Lounge. This is the Schengen Lounge, it has recently been renovated and expanded.

My thoughts on the lounge: The facilities are good. The only downside, it’s too big and too busy. Especially during peak hours.

Want to go on a weekend trip or vacation more often? Book a cheap ticket searching for dates on google flights and use KLM's or Air-France's website to book. Alternatively, you can use an Online Travel Agency (Kayak, etc.) and add your booking into your app.
