There are actually two videos here. The first shows my best time, which I've only been able to get when Monkey Blue is closer as the level starts. This happens occasionally, and ranges in frequency from being quite rare to occurring multiple times in a row. The second shows a marginally slower time achieved with Monkey Blue starting where he normally does. I've included both videos to show that 11 seconds is possible either way.

Strategy: Set your gadget to slingback shooter, your ammo to explosive pellets, and your morph to Cyber Ace (when using quick morph). Make sure you buy the maximum number of explosive pellets (9) before you start, because you'll need them all.

As you start the level, you won't be lined up properly to begin shooting right away. Pressing L2 and aiming manually takes too long, so tap the left stick to the left so you'll be lined up for the shot. (You can also start the level with the left stick held to the left, and let go just after the timer starts. This is what I do.) Tap the right stick as fast as you can in any direction, and fire off exactly 6 shots. This should get you to the next part of the fight.

Hold the left stick forward as the action starts to line up the shot as before. Let go before you reach the first log and unload your last 3 rounds. This should finish him off. Switch to Cyber Ace, jump once, dash forward twice in the air, and capture Monkey Blue!
