BMW X3 e83 LCI light repair. Easy fix. Saved my self £££. Cut open the light. Measure voltage feed, measure voltage to all diodes. If one of them is much higher voltage than another two. That will be the one which has burned out and needs replacing. Simply resolder the one which have a high voltage and seal the unit up with some silicone or hot glue etc. . It might not be exact same problem on your vehicle. But this is what was wrong with my light. Hope it saves you money as they are well overpriced. Thanks for watching.
