JICA together with the MoWT, UNRRA and KCCA is devoted to supporting the development of national road networks through a number of ODA loans, Grant Aid and Technical Cooperation Projects such as the Construction of the New Bridge across the Nile River,among others, are all geared towards transforming the transport sector and vitalizing Uganda’s economy.
