The Nebraska Library Commission (NLC) has announced the availability of non-competitive formula grants, provided with funding from the American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA), the federal stimulus bill passed by Congress in March 2021.
This webinar will provide an introduction and overview of the NLC's ARPA Formula Grants, including the application process, allowable and unallowable costs, and reporting requirements. There will be plenty of time for Q&A, so be prepared with any questions you have about this new funding opportunity.
From ARPA, NLC received a one-time award of $2,422,166, of which $1,425,000 has been allocated for non-competitive formula grants, available to legally established Nebraska public, institutional, and tribal libraries. To apply for the funds, qualifying libraries must submit an online application. The deadline to apply for this funding is December 31, 2021.
Presenters: Christa Porter, Library Development Director, and Sam Shaw, LSTA Coordinator, Nebraska Library Commission.
