I often say the the .327 Federal Magnum is "better", or at least as good as 9mm because it's an efficient short barrel cartridge with a ton of power and hard barrier penetrating power to match the 9mm. Today I am testing Buffalo Bore ammunition! The 9mm is a 124 gr+P XTP rated at 1,225 FPS and the .327 Federal Magnum is a 100 gr XTP rated at 1,450 FPS. I am using the Taurus G2C 3.25" for the 9mm and the Ruger LCR 1.875" for the .327 Federal Magnum, and both guns have about the same amount of bullet travel in their respective guns. I am testing both of these cartridges in my standard chronograph/accuracy/Jug-or-Not test but am also doing a wood penetration and 50 yard "headshot" test. Always appreciative of any channel help :) [ Ссылка ]
