The Swiss energy group Axpo is involved in the design and construction of a new pipeline transporting natural gas from Azerbaijan to Europe. The Azerbaijan gas consortium has chosen the Trans-Adriatic Pipeline project to deliver supplies: the cheaper option. The project beat a rival contender from the European Union.
