In our last video of our BiG Classics series, we take you on a pure nostalgia journey with young and old classic tractors during the corn harvest.
We start with a Fendt Farmer 3S and a KRONE MC 8 maize chopper. The mounted chopper feeds the maize from the rear to a disc wheel equipped with eight knives.
In reverse gear, our Fendt Favorit 615 LSA and a KRONE MC 16 B chopping unit go into the crop. This was the world's first row-independent mounted corn chopper in the 80's.
From attachment to self-propelled forage harvester, we will show you a KRONE BiG X V8 from 2004 with a ten-row KRONE EasyCollect 7500 maize header. In 2000 KRONE introduced the first self-propelled forage harvester.
Chopping is done in a three-way tipper, the KRONE Emsland tipper, pulled by a Unimog U 411 and a Fendt Farmer, also with a Emsland tipper.
At the side of the BiG X, a Fendt Favorit 824 with 230 hp provides the necessary power to remove the maize with the KRONE TX transport wagon. The TX 560 D holds up to 56 m³.
A Hanomag 44 D wheel loader pushes the fodder into the silo and ensures the necessary compaction on this farm.
To top it off, we show you all the combinations in action and add another newcomer on top: the largest forage harvester that KRONE has ever built - the KRONE BiG X 1180 - the most powerful agricultural machine in the world.
Which machine or team makes your heart beat faster?
