When artist Tom Croft thought he'd like to honour any NHS workers out there by offering to paint their portraits, at the height of the pandemic, he wasn't sure what response he'd get.
The answer: a huge one. So much so, he ended up pairing 500 artists with 500 health workers - to capture on canvas a time in their lives that has now been shared in a coffee table book.
