The Doka Plantation has been awarded the Sintercafe best coffee in the world award on 2 separate occasions.
Located on the fertile slopes of the Poas Volcano, this full production plantation has been in operation in one form or another for over a hundred years. It's one of the oldest in the country!
Several daily tours are offered here, which are a great way to learn all about coffee production and sample the different varieties.
