Ryan Heffner, Senior Design Engineer, demonstrates how the Equilibar single use back pressure regulator (BPR) controls pressure at the outlet of a Watson Marlow positive displacemenet pump compared to an industry standard pinch valve. The pinch valve is set up in a PID control loop, whereas the BPR is not. The second demonstration shows how an Equilibar single use pulsation dampener reduces the pressure fluctutations downstream of the positive displacement pump.
