It takes two is the third game in the same series of unique cooperative games as A Away Out and Brothers: A Tale of two Sons. While Brothers was a puzzle game, where a single player had to control two characters simultaniously and A Way Out was more of an interactive movie for two players, It Takes Two is a gameplay-heavy experience where both players have to cooperate and complement each other.
