Canada needs immigrants with knowledge of French 🇨🇦
Great news for those who are learning or know French! Minister of Immigration Marc Miller recently announced that Canada will accept more immigrants who speak French.
❗ Important note: They must settle outside the province of Quebec.
🔸 Last year, about 16,400 French-speaking immigrants were admitted.
🔸 This year, 10,190 French-speaking people have already immigrated, and the number can reach 17,000 by the end of the year!
However, the Federation of Francophone and Acadian Communities of Canada believes this is insufficient. The issue of French is always topical in Canada, and knowing French can make a big difference in the immigration process.
