At this point in time, cameras are coming out focused on resolution, dynamic range and just image perfection. Though Hollywood still uses film to produce some high budget shows or movies. Why? I compare some recent shows or movies to show you the difference.
Film Emulation is all the rage right now and there are a lot of options in terms of plug-ins and/or power grades. I discuss the ones I have used and give my opinions on why they are good or not good. We talk about Cineprint16, Key16, Filmvision, Filmconvert, Filmunlimited, Dehancer and Filmbox. Furthermore I talk about Film vs Digital in Hollywood.
