All right, great. This primer is dry, and we wiped down the radiator. We dusted it out. The best way to paint these is with spray paint. Why go through all the trouble of trying to brush it in?

Go to the store and get yourself some spray paint.

All the modern spray paints are enamel. They are not washable with water, they are not water based, but you just be careful using them.

The old time high heat paint is being sold less and less. It actually has more, you know, volatile compounds and toxins than a regular straight up enamel paint.

So, the guys at the paint store, these modern spray paints, enamel paint is just fine for even a heat sensitive object like this.

So, I'm going to do a little spray paint. I might even use a mask if I'm doing a lot of it. And again, nice, methodical, even strokes.

And I'll just do a section here. And we chose a silver, as you can see a sample here, we chose a silver for this radiator.

All right. I'm going to do a little on the top. The inside. And I can always do a second coat as well. And now the inside here.

So I'd better let that first coat settle in. You don't want to overdo spray paint for fear of having drips.

But save yourself some trouble. If you do it carefully, this will save you a lot of time on metal, radiators, and the like.
