This is the second video in my series “Walks in Hampshire” with my Whippet, Logan. In this episode, I visit the pretty village of Martin and surrounding countryside.
My circular route starts in the village itself with a look at the Church, village green & wonderful country cottages before heading South to the Martin Down Nature Reserve. A steady climb along a chalk track takes me to the top of the Downs where I get to experience some stunning views across Hampshire & Wiltshire.
I get to explore both Bokerley Ditch/Dyke and Grims Ditch as well as a couple of Bronze Age Barrows before heading back down in to the village to complete my journey. I am very fortunate to have this route within walking distance of my home.
