The inspector general of police Joseph Boinnet has praised National Police strategies put in place in handling Terror threats in the Country. He says it is those strategies that gave the United Kingdom confidence to lift the travel advisories in Mombasa, Kwale and Kilifi. Boinnet has however said that it is not the responsibility of the police to force teachers to go back to north Eastern region or any part of the Country, for that is a matter between an Employer and Employees
