It’s a sad fact of life that some sections of communities need protection from those who would exploit or abuse them. This applies to adults as well as children, who may be vulnerable because of their age, circumstance, or mental differences. Safeguarding training will guide you to protect them from harm.
This Level 1 Safeguarding Vulnerable Adults course is primarily for workers who regularly encounter adults who are most at risk of abuse. This may be part of voluntary or social work or just a natural part of their job. Each training module will cover the basic principles of safeguarding adults and how you identify signs of abuse.

By the end of this course, you’ll have a good understanding of the UK laws in place to protect the vulnerable, and how you can use them to ensure cases of abuse are reported accurately. You’ll also learn how to communicate successfully with the victims and how to share that information in the correct manner.
