Meet 30 girls whose unique and empowering stories model confidence in action. From Bali to Brazil, South Africa to Seattle, and Australia to Afghanistan, these girls took risks, doubted themselves, and sometimes failed. But they also hung in there when things got hard. As they pursued different goals—protesting contaminated water, advocating for inclusive books, making sure girls had access to sports equipment—they learned how to use the confidence they needed. With graphic novel strips, powerful photos, and engaging interviews, this inspiring collection will show readers that no matter who they are, nothing is impossible if they embrace their power as individuals and community members.
Katty and Claire will be joined in conversation with CNN anchor Brooke Baldwin.
