You should choose UMass because UMass is truly a place where you can grow. I came in as a freshman and I definitely was a very different person than I am now two years later. And I think all of the opportunities and all of the clubs and different activities you can get involved in here really have shaped me into that person.
I can't stress how great the student population here is in terms of being friendly, being open, wanting to make these connections. It really gives me a sense of home.
Students who have been accepted to UMass should accept U Mass because it's a really large institution. There's never a time where nothing's going on here. So there's so much to do for every kind of person. Transfer student, first year students, everything in between, we have everything for everyone.
There's so many different resources that they have for you. If you wanna be in RA, if you wanna be into education, if you wanna be in public health, you wanna be in psychology. They have an array of things that you can do and I feel like if you come to UMass you just find your community and you'd find a piece of yourself as well.
