TJAC president Prof. Kodandaram said that he is one of the person who is influenced with Prof. Jayashankar's ideology. While speaking to media on 3rd death anniversary of Prof. Jayashankar, Kodandaram said "Jayashankar always felt that literates should always serve for the betterment of society and said that there is no big sin in the world than literates being calm on problems of society".
