"Arran Boat Song" is a slow tune from the Scottish Highlands, the title is often known as the Highland Boat Song. It is a very popular tune and although it was published in 19th century music books, it was already known by 1700 and associated for example with Robert Allan's poem "Queen Mary's Escape From Lochleven Castle".
It is a tune that is learned to play on the tin whistle because of its relative simplicity of performance, but it is also a tune very popular with harpists.

Music is truly essential to me and occupies an important place in my daily life. I play the harp every day because music gives me pleasure, relaxes me pleasantly between my painting sessions and deeply influences my artistic creation.
A very cordial handshake.
