STORYLINE:
A suicide bomber exploded a belt of dynamite he was wearing inside a police station in the city of Kirkuk, 290 kilometres (180 miles) north of Baghdad, killing one policeman and one civilian and wounding 13 other people, police said.
The blast which took place on Monday at around noon (0900GMT), damaged nearby buildings and cars as well as the police station itself.
Emergency services were gathered in the courtyard of the police station to assess the damage caused by the suicide bomb blast.
