Union Budget 2023 should focus on large infrastructure projects around transportation, logistics, warehousing, creating manufacturing hubs and PLI schemes. "A lot of projects are already in the works and ensuring that they stay on track and are ahead of time so that we see a quick revival of consumption because of the employment generation," says Rajat Wahi, Partner, Deloitte India. FM Nirmala Sitharaman will present the last full budget of the second Narendra Modi government on February 1, 2023. All eyes are on Union Budget 2023 to aid growth while maintaining the fiscal deficit target.
